BSc in Land Administration and Information Systems

-School of Petroleum Studies

BSc in Petroleum Engineering (Fee paying Programme)

BSc in Natural Gas Engineering

BSc in Petroleum Geosciences and Engineering

BSc in Petroleum Refining and Petrochemical Engineering

BSc in Chemical Engineering

 

The entry requirement for the above programmes are as follows:

At least Credits in Core Subjects

At least Credits in Electives

English Language

Mathematics

Integrated Science

Physics

Mathematics

Chemistry

Geography

NOTE:

  1. Only Geomatics Engineering applicants can substitute Chemistry with Geography
  2. Applicants to BSc Land Administration and Information Systems should have Credits in three Business, General Arts and Science Electives in addition to the above Core Subjects.

Mechanical Engineering applicants can substitute Chemistry with Technical Drawing or Metal Work

  1. Faculty of Computing and Mathematical Sciences

(Mathematics and Statistical Data Science Applicants)

The entry requirement for the above programmes are as follows:

At least Credits in Core Subjects

At least Credits in Elective Mathematics and

any two of the following Elective Subjects

NOTE:

– BSc Computer Science and Engineering applicants require Credits in Physics, Chemistry and Elective Mathematics in addition to the Core Subjects stated above.

-BSc Computer Science and Engineering applicants can Substitute Chemistry with ICT, Computer Studies or Applied Electricity.

The entry requirement for the above programmes are as follows:

At least Credits in Core Subjects

Mature Applicants

Applicants should be at least 25 years of age and should have SSSC/ WASSC or GCE O’ Level Certificate with credits in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics and a science subject with experience in the relevant area of study. Applicants must pass a written examination and /or an interview. Mature applicants must also possess birth certificates which are, at least, five (5) years old after the date of issue.
